NATIONWIDE — FORMER U.S. VICE PRESIDENT DICK CHENEY DIED MONDAY, NOV. 3, AT AGE 84. Cheney visited Brooklyn in 2008 to support former Congressmember Vito Fossella. At the time, Fossella was running for reelection for a sixth term in Congress, representing the then-13th district. Later that year, Fossella admitted to fathering a child in an illicit affair and resigned from Congress. He is now Staten Island borough president.
