A 23-year-old man remains in a serious condition in hospital after a crash in Stockton involving two motorbikes. Darlington Road, in Hartburn , was closed for more than six hours after a collision involving a Honda CRF 100 and a Triumph.

The Honda rider, 23, suffered a serious head injury and was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees . Cleveland Police has confirmed on Tuesday, November 4, that he remains in hospital in a serious condition.

The crash happened shortly before 1.30pm on Saturday, November 1. Two men riding the Triumph sustained multiple minor injuries and were transported to hospital before being taken into police custody for questioning.

The 22-year-old and 24-year-old were both arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. They
