Voters in California will decide whether to approve a proposition to redraw the state's congressional map.
The proposal, which could erase as many as five Republican districts, is aimed at countering an unprecedented state-by-state redistricting battle, which started when Texas Republicans heeded President Donald Trump’s demand that they redraw their boundaries to help the GOP retain control of the House in the midterms.
