The Cleveland Browns began Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline day by moving defensive end Joe Tryon-Shoyinka to the Chicago Bears along with a seventh-round pick — acquired in the Greg Newsome trade to the Jacksonville Jaguars in next year’s draft — in exchange for a sixth-round pick, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The reported deal was confirmed by the Akron Beacon Journal.
The Browns signed Tryon-Shoyinka just after the beginning of the free-agency period in March. He came to the team after spending the previous four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers , looking to jump start his career.
