COLQUITT, MILLER COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) – The Colquitt and Miller County Sheriff’s Office are mourning the loss of K9 Volk, a dedicated service dog who unexpectedly passed away after years of loyal service to the citizens in both counties.
The sheriff’s office described Volk as a valued member of their team and the community.
“K9 Volk served the citizens of Colquitt and Miller County for a number of years. He will be missed deeply by all of us at the Sheriff’s Office,” the department said.
