TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Donna Adelson filed a notice of appeal on Tuesday, according to court records.
Court records show Adelson’s attorneys, Joshua Zelman and Jackie Fulford, filed the notice to appeal her conviction and sentence.
Adelson was found guilty of first-degree murder, conspiracy and solicitation in the 2014 murder of Dan Markel in September.

Adelson was sentenced to life in prison on Oct. 13.
She became the fifth person sent to prison for their role in the murder-for-hire plot that saw Markel gunned down in his car.
