MACON, Ga. — With polls open until 7 p.m., voters across Georgia still have time to make their voices count on Election Day .

At the Houston County Annex building in Warner Robins, there’s been a steady flow of people coming and going throughout the day. For many, earning that “I secured my vote” sticker is exciting—but the bigger motivation is making sure their vote helps shape their community.

Warner Robins resident Lawrence Knox was among the first people through the doors Tuesday morning.

“Tired of talking about it, let’s do something about it,” Knox said. “I’m that type of person—take action.”

He said taxes are one of his biggest concerns.
