ATLANTA — The Atlanta Falcons are reportedly making their second change at kicker this season, and will sign Zane Gonzalez and waive Parker Romo.

The move has not been officially announced as of Tuesday afternoon. It was reported by NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport.

Gonzalez was most recently with the Washington Commanders, appearing in six games last season and converting five of his seven regular season field goal attempts. He notably made all three of his tries in Washington's playoff win over Tamp Bay, including a game-winner.

His stint in Washington was his first after injuries and team changes saw him out of action in all of both 2022 in 2023.

Gonzalez, an Arizona State product, began his career with Cleveland in 2017 and has also played for Arizona and Carolina.
