A South Boston man who was facing charges in connection with separate murders almost a decade apart has reached a plea deal with prosecutors.
Michael Lewis, 65, is expected to plead guilty on Wednesday to two counts of manslaughter related to homicides that occurred in 1984 and 1993, the Suffolk District Attorney's Office said. The expected plea will take place at 10 a.m. in Suffolk Superior Court.

Lewis is charged with murdering 46-year-old WIliam Villani in Villani's office at Two Sterling Square in South Boston, prosecutors said.
