A wise person recently told me that the most remarkable thing a political party can do is show up outside election season. You need to be a party of the people, and to do so, you must be there volunteering and serving whenever possible.
Recently, our District 24 Sen. Mr. (Mike) Wobbema, signed a letter with multiple other N.D. Senate Republicans urging the United States Senate to pass legislation to fund the government.
Interestingly, this letter ridiculed and blamed the Democrats in the U.S. Senate for stopping the measure, leading to a government shutdown.
Democrats don’t support the measure because, while it would fund the government and benefit Americans in numerous ways, it simultaneously takes healthcare away from millions of Americans and was written without bipartisan input. It
