The LSU Tigers fired head coach Brian Kelly earlier this season following a blowout loss at the hands of the Texas A&M Aggies despite a hefty buyout that was negotiated down to $27 million.
Immediately after Kelly's ousting, rumors started connecting former Alabama head coach Nick Saban to the program where he delivered a national title in 2003. On Nov. 1 during the latest College GameDay , Saban addressed the LSU vacancy.
“You’ve got all these external factors that are constantly changing,” Saban said. “Whether it’s the transfer portal, how much you can pay guys, revenue sharing, what kind of collective do you have?
