ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A boil water advisory has been issued for the entire City of Canandaigua after a water main break Tuesday afternoon.
City officials say crews are working to identify the cause of the break and restore full service as quickly as possible.
Residents who still have running water are advised to boil it before using it for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or any other activity that could result in ingestion.
The advisory will remain in effect until further notice. Officials say updates will be shared once the advisory can be lifted.
Anyone with questions can contact the City of Canandaigua Department of Public Works.
