ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — News 8 has received reports from KeyBank customers who say the bank has double-charged some debit card transactions from Nov. 3, 2025, leaving some accounts in the negative.
One viewer described the issue as an “egregious bank error” that has lasted more than 48 hours, with no resolution in sight.
Key Bank acknowledged a technical issue in a statement: “We are in the process of resolving a technical issue that caused some pending debit card transactions from November 3, 2025, to appear twice on accounts. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our clients and appreciate their patience as we work to resolve this issue.”
