ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A single-vehicle crash on Black Brook Road in Seneca Falls on October 19 left a passenger hospitalized and the driver facing multiple charges.
Police say the vehicle overturned around 6:15 p.m., trapping the driver, Shawn M. Bell, of Seneca Falls, who was quickly freed by first responders.
Bell, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to maintain lane. He refused medical treatment.
The passenger was taken to Geneva General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Bell was processed at the Seneca Falls Police Department and released on an appearance ticket.
