NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Vanderbilt University is sharing new details on its plans to move to the Big Apple.
The university announced earlier this fall that it is planning to open its first campus build of Nashville through an expansion to Manhattan. On Tuesday, Vanderbilt announced plans to open its New York campus by the fall of 2026.
“Today the New York Board of Regents unanimously approved Vanderbilt’s application for academic programming, which clears the final hurdle in the state’s regulatory process and moves Vanderbilt’s planned expansion from vision to reality,” a press release from the university said.
