HOUSTON – Voters in Texas’s 18th Congressional District are casting their ballots on Nov. 4, 2025, to choose who will fill the vacant seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.
The special election comes after former Congressman Sylvester Turner vacated the seat earlier this year. Several candidates are competing to represent portions of central and north Houston, along with parts of Harris County, in Congress.

Polling places are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, with early voting held Oct. 20–31.
