ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A teenager is accused of armed robbery at an Imo’s Pizza in St. Louis County.
Simon Marx, 18, is charged with two counts of first-degree robbery, two counts of armed criminal action and one count of aggravated fleeing a stop or detention.
According to police, Marx entered the Imo’s Pizza on McKelvey Road on Oct. 29 and pointed a pistol at the clerk while demanding money from the register. The suspect allegedly chambered a round, which the manager heard, prompting them to come to the counter. When the manager got to the counter, Marx pointed the gun and again demanded money.
The manager then emptied the register, and the suspect put the cash into a backpack. After the robbery, the suspect drove off on a motorcycle.
