BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - To make sure everyone has food on their table, McDonald’s made a donation to help feed Kentucky families.

Burrell Family McDonald’s partnered with other local McDonald’s organizations in the region to donate $7,843.46 to Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland, following the recent “Side of Support” fundraiser in their restaurants.

During the weeklong September campaign, a portion of fry sales from participating restaurants was donated to fight hunger across the region. The funds will help provide more than 60,000 meals to families in 42 counties across Western and Central Kentucky.

Burrell Family McDonald’s locally owns and operates 23 restaurants across Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana.
