WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) - Two candidates are vying for Warren Municipal Court judge: longtime attorney Irene Makridis and current municipal court Judge Natasha Natale.

While in law school, Makridis interned at the Trumbull County Prosecutor’s Office. She worked for the Public Defender’s Office for a few years before going into private practice, where she’s spent most of her 44-year career handling a variety of different cases.

Natale previously prosecuted cases for the Mahoning County Prosecutor’s Office and Attorney General’s Office Special Prosecutions Unit. She also served as a Portage County Common Pleas Court magistrate.
