WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) - Officers in Warren were becoming familiar with burglaries that involved thieves cutting a hole in a wall to gain entry. That's why they took a closer look at a building along Parkman Road NW that looked suspicious.

An officer on patrol about 3:25 a.m. Thursday in the 2500 block of Parkman Road NW saw a hole in a garage door on the rear of a building. The debris from the garage door was on the ground and appeared to be freshly cut. Officers were aware of other break-ins in the city with subjects making holes through walls to gain entry, according to the police report.

Officers searched the building with a K-9 and found the suspect in a bathroom stall. They also found a rifle and ammunition that the building owner said did not belong there, the report stated.
