DUQUESNE, PA – A man was found fatally shot inside a residence early Sunday after gunfire broke out during a house party in the 1000 block of Crawford Avenue, prompting a homicide investigation by Allegheny County Police.

At approximately 12:49 a.m., County 9-1-1 received reports of shots fired at the Duquesne address. Responding officers and medics arrived to find an adult male victim dead inside the home from multiple gunshot wounds.

Detectives with the Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit have launched an investigation. Preliminary findings indicate a house party was underway at the time of the shooting. Officials have not released the identity of the victim or details about any potential suspects.
