Rain or shine, the trio, who are from Oshawa, British Columbia and Barrie, respectively, will be running laps around Tindal Field from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., all in an effort to raise money for cancer research.
They have dubbed the feat a “12-hour race against cancer” and they are hoping that by pushing themselves beyond their physical limits, they can help battle the disease and inspire hope.
