Former Miss India and actress Celina Jaitly made an appeal to the Delhi High Court, seeking help for her brother, Major (Retd.). Vikrant Kumar Jaitly. He has been detained in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for more than 14 months.

The actress shared an emotional note on Instagram. It read, “Standing for a Soldier: A Ray of Hope from the Delhi High Court in the Case of Major (Retd.) Vikrant Kumar Jaitly," she began her post. Celina expressed her gratitude to the court and described the moment as finally seeing “light at the end of the dark tunnel," following 14 months of struggle.
