A second taxing district that would help fund building costs for the Prospect Village development was advanced Monday night by the Joplin City Council.
The council will be asked Nov. 17 to take final action on the Woodsonia Marketplace Community Improvement District, the second of two CIDs for the project, said the city's finance director, Leslie Haase. If final approval is given, collection of the tax will begin April 1. ×
