JANE, Mo. — Crowder College is remembering a pivotal and humorous moment in Southwest Missouri history with a new exhibit to be unveiled at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crowder College's campus in McDonald County, 194 College Road in Jane.

The exhibit will mark the time that McDonald County seceded from Missouri after the state had rerouted highways in the county and left popular tourist spots off an official state map. ×
