BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — A 66-year-old Morganton man faces child exploitation charges following an investigation by the Burke County Sheriff's Office .
Frank Wayne Campbell was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree exploitation of a minor, according to a press release from the sheriff's office.
The investigation began Oct. 6 when the Burke County Sheriff's Office received a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, authorities said.
Investigators obtained a search warrant for Campbell's residence at 1054 Brown Drive in Morganton. At the conclusion of the search, Campbell was arrested without incident, according to the release.
