The Saskatchewan Roughriders finished atop the CFL West Division, allowing them an extra week to get healthier.

An extra week of rest appears to have helped a few players get back onto the field ahead of the CFL West Final.

Wide receiver Dohnte Meyers (ankle), offensive lineman Trevon Tate (chest) and defensive back Rolan Milligan Jr. (knee) were all back on the practice field on Tuesday. Milligan did leave practice early.

“It feels great. I had some time off, and now to be able to put the cleats back on and put the helmet on and jersey and be back out there with the guys, especially with us trying to 1-0 this week, so it feels good,” Meyers said.

Meyers has been out since Oct. 3 as he dealt with an ankle injury. He could help provide a boost to the Riders’ offence for the West Final a
