LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A cold front will bring cooler - but more seasonal - temperatures to the state as we head into the day on Wednesday. The big weather change this week though will come Saturday into Sunday as a strong cold front and cold high pressure settle into the area - leading to our coldest period of the season thus far.
Temperatures on Saturday should be seasonal - reaching the upper 40s to upper 50s before a strong cold front pushes through the state Saturday evening. Not only will this bring at least a small chance for some moisture (possibly some snowflakes for some!), it will bring windy and colder conditions to the area. Temperatures behind the front will drop to the upper 30s to upper 40s for daytime highs on Sunday with feels like temperatures in the 30s for most by Sun
