LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - An 18-year-old accused of a stabbing that punctured the lung of a 17-year-old in central Lincoln has been charged.
Court records show that 18-year-old Fomo Mohamed has been charged with second-degree assault and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
On Saturday, officers were called to the area of 20th and O streets on the report of a person stabbed at 2:05 a.m.
According to LPD, officers found a teenager who had been stabbed twice by a person he knew. The teenager was taken to an area hospital after life-saving measure were taken.
LPD said Mohamed and the victim had run into each other several times at different parties. Witnesses on the scene reported seeing a fight take place in the parking lot near the area.
