TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Multiple convictions were secured following a two-year investigation into unlawfully taken wildlife, according to Idaho Fish and Game .

On October 29, 2023 Idaho Fish and Game Conservation Officers pulled over a group of individuals suspected of taking mule deer without valid tags. Officers discovered five mule deer heads; the meat had been left to waste. A deeper investigation revealed a larger group of people, related to the initial four suspects, committing the same crimes. Other hunting violations were also uncovered.

The results of a two-year investigation included officers serving 14 simultaneous search warrants in the Treasure Valley and Oregon, with help from the Nampa, Meridian, and Boise police departments; Oregon State Police; the Wyoming Game
