The Charge Ahead Rebate, the second type of rebate offered by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality for new and used electric vehicles, will be suspended Dec. 5.

Applicants will have until 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 4 to purchase or lease eligible vehicles.

The standard rebate, open to all Oregon residents, businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies, was suspended on Sept. 9 after funding ran out. The standard rebate offers up to $2,500 for the purchase or lease of eligible new electric vehicles or new zero-emission motorcycles.
