For the fifth straight season, the Oregon football team is ranked in the top-10 of the initial College Football Playoff rankings, as announced on ESPN by the selection committee on Nov. 4.

The Ducks (7-1, 4-1 Big Ten) are ranked No. 9 in the rankings after being ranked No. 1 for the entirety of the rankings released in 2024. UO has just one loss to No. 2 Indiana in mid-October.
