PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Weeks after a report revealed that most of Oregon’s independent concert spaces aren’t sustainable, a Portland venue is preparing to close later this month.
Lollipop Shoppe has announced that it will shutter “around” Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 27.
“Like a lot of small businesses, we’ve been struggling to make ends meet as operating costs continue to rise,” Lollipop Shoppe wrote on Instagram. “We put every part of us into this venue + it’s hard to say goodbye, but we need to restore our personal + financial balance.”
