The Baltimore City Department of Transportation has announced a series of road closures and parking restrictions ahead of the city’s annual Veterans Day Parade, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 8.

The parade will take place from noon to 2:30 p.m., starting at the Washington Monument at Charles and Centre streets.

Participants will march south on Charles Street, turn left onto Baltimore Street, then left on Gay Street before disbanding along East Lexington Street at War Memorial Plaza.

To prepare for the event, the following streets will close to traffic starting around 9 a.m. Saturday, with detours and parking restrictions in place:

– Mt. Vernon Place from Cathedral to St. Paul streets
