PHOENIX — It's finally golfing season in the Valley! With fall overseeding wrapping up on the fairways, Arizona's more than 300 golf courses are ready to welcome players back to the greens. Temperatures are toning down, the mornings are crisp and golfers are dusting off their clubs for another season on the links.
But before you hit that perfect drive, there's one opponent you can't escape — the weather!
Early mornings can come with a little extra moisture. When temperatures hover near the dew point, fairways often glisten with dew, making the course soft and soggy. That can slow down your roll and leave your ball with a little mud on it. Luckily, as the sun rises, those fairways dry out and firm up. That means longer drives, faster greens and trickier approach shots.
Of course, no roun
