Regina Police Service (RPS) is asking people who live near the 1000 block of 12th Avenue to look for a firearm related to an ongoing of the city’s 10th homicide investigation of the year.
A 19-year-old man was shot dead on Saturday morning just before 1 a.m.
Police said in a statement on Nov. 4 that they believe the firearm “may have been disposed” in the area of Saskatchewan Drive to Victoria Avenue, Montreal Street to Wallace Street.

Due to the potential public safety risk, the RPS is asking people in the area to check areas around their properties including, but not limited to, eavestroughs, shrubs, under decks and inside any unsecured sheds or
