LSU interim athletic director Verge Ausberry took the opportunity during a Tuesday radio appearance to knock down the rumor that Nick Saban is considering a return to coaching at LSU.

Prior to Ausberry's comments, LSU legend Shaquille O'Neal said during an interview with US Weekly that he heard "through the grapevine" that LSU has spoken with Saban about the head coaching job.

Ausberry went on ESPN 104.5 Baton Rouge on Tuesday afternoon, and addressed the report.
