SOUTH RICHMOND HILL, Queens (WABC) -- A man was slashed across the neck, leaving him in critical condition, by another man who was apparently upset over a parking spot in Queens.
Police say a 26-year-old man had just parked his vehicle near Liberty Avenue and 123 Street in South Richmond Hill around 3:30 a.m. October 18, when the driver of a GMC Terrain pulled up behind him.
The suspect got out of his vehicle and yelled at the man to move his car, according to police.
He then slashed the victim across the neck.
The victim went to the hospital, where he was treated for critical injuries.
Neighbors say late nights have become more unpredictable with a bar crowd in the area and fewer parking spaces.
Police are searching for the suspect.
