LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville Kroger store was temporarily evacuated following a toilet paper fire.

According to PRP Fire, crews were dispatched to the Dixie Highway Kroger location Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters found smoke inside the store when they arrived.

The small fire was located in the toiletries aisle and involved toilet paper. The sprinklers were not activated in the store because bystanders acted using fire extinguishers to extinguish the fire before firefighters arrived.

There were no injuries reported in the incident.

Metro Arson and Metro Health were notified, and the fire is under investigation.
