Two Massachusetts men were arrested Tuesday in connection with a weekend explosion inside the Goldenson Building at Harvard Medical School. Logan David Patterson, 18, of Plymouth, and Dominick Frank Cardoza, 20, of Bourne, face federal charges of conspiracy to damage by means of fire or an explosive.
The explosion occurred early Saturday on the fourth floor of the building, which houses labs and offices for the neurobiology department. Authorities confirmed no one was injured, and school officials stated there was no structural damage or harm to lab equipment.
According to charging documents, witnesses claim the men, who were visiting the area for Halloween activities, chose the medical school because it looked abandoned and entered through the roof. The pair allegedly lit a roman candle
