SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The Notre Dame women’s basketball team will open its season Wednesday night when it hosts Fairleigh Dickinson.
The Irish enter the season ranked 15th in the country but return only two players who played minutes last season. The roster features mostly new faces who have played just one exhibition game together, beating Purdue Northwest 119-54 at home last week.
Notre Dame will focus on building team chemistry during these early season games as players adjust to playing together.
