A third person is set to face court following an investigation into an alleged armed robbery near Newcastle two months ago.
Officers attached to Newcastle City Police District were called to a licensed premises on Beaumont Street, Hamilton, about 3.40am on Friday 12 September.
On arrival, they received information a male entered the business and threatened staff with a firearm.
He then left with cash on the back of an e-bike being ridden by another person.
Police soon established Strike Force Mesport, with the assistance of the State Crime Command’s Robbery and Serious Crime Squad.
About 11am on Wednesday 24 September, they executed a search warrant at a storage unit in Newcastle West.
They allegedly located and seized a bag containing $30,020 cash.
