Emotions run high as footage of 2023 stabbing aftermath played during 1st full day of trial

ANN ARBOR, MI - Even though she was pressing the towels into her boyfriend’s chest, Skyla Crawford only knew about two of the 14 stabs wounds. There was too much blood to see how many there actually were, she told the jury.

“I should have done something more in the moment,” said Crawford, now 23. “I’m just sorry. I was – I should have done more. I felt like I should have done more.”
