BATON ROUGE — It sounds like new LSU president Wade Rousse is going to hit the ground running as it pertains to the two major vacancies within the LSU athletics department.

The LSU Board of Supervisors voted for Rousse as the university's next leader at its meeting Tuesday afternoon after more than two hours of deliberation in executive session. Rousse previously held the same position at McNeese State.
