CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Many are still feeling an emotional toll one week after the sentencing of Bionca Ellis in the Julian Wood trial , including jurors.
In an interview with 19 News on Tuesday, Judge Brendan Sheehan is reminding neighbors that the Court of Common Pleas has counseling services available for all jurors at the conclusion of a case.
The service is provided by the Euclid-based Moore Counseling and Mediation Services.
“It’s completely private, it’s completely volunteer,” he said. “Every juror gets that opportunity to seek counseling if need be.”
Those who were selected as jurors in the Bionca Ellis trial observed several pieces of images that many would find disturbing, including surveillance video footage leading up to the incident.
