Four persons, including a minor, were held on Tuesday for allegedly beating a stray dog to death with sticks and stones in Gurgaon’s Pratap Nagar area because it had bitten one of them, said police.
The accused allegedly hit the dog on Sunday near Mehandi Park. In a complaint with the New Colony police station on Monday, a woman said that the dog was attacked when it was sleeping on a footpath.
Three accused were arrested following the registration of the FIR while a minor was apprehended, said officers. Two of them have been identified as Kulbhushan (44) and Himanshu (22).
