ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A new sneaker store, Laced Up 8-1-5, is set to open soon in downtown Rockford off, marking its second location.

Dylan Boyd and Zach Marrie, the owners of Laced Up 8-1-5, have been selling sneakers together since before they could drive. Their passion for sneaker culture has driven them to expand their business, starting their first store four years ago and now opening a second location.

"We put a lot of work into the downtown location here now for the last couple weeks. Like Zach said, we're just super excited to be a part of the downtown community at this point," said Dylan Boyd.
