UNCW basketball is back in action.

The Seahawks got their 2025-2026 season underway Monday, Nov. 3, cruising past Mount Olive 106-77 in Trask Coliseum.

It wasn't quite the record-setting, 143-point display that UNCW put on against Mount Olive in last winter's season-opener, but the Seahawks felt comfortable in every stage of the game, leading 62-33 at halftime.

After 27 wins and their first NCAA appearance in eight years last winter, UNCW added seven transfers this offseason, giving fans plenty of new names to learn.
