ALLIANCE ‒ Alliance City Council had two contested races on the Nov. 4 ballot.
Democrat Jorge Mendoza was trying to unseat one of three Republican incumbents − Kristopher Bugara, Jennifer Kiko and Phillip Mastroianni − for an at-large post.
Republican incumbent Ed Lohnes faced challenger Jessica Risaliti, a Democrat, in the Ward 3 race.
The positions will pay $10,161.57 in 2026. The council terms run for two years.
Incumbents Sheila Cherry (Ward 1), Cindy King (Ward 2) and Jim Edwards (Ward 4) faced no opposition in their re-election bids. All three will serve another term.
