Sean Moore finished with a hat trick and an assist, leading top-seeded Colts Neck to a 5-0 victory over 16th-seeded Nottingham in the first round of the NJSIAA Central Jersey, Group 3 playoffs in Colts Neck. This was Colts Neck’s 14th shutout of the season.
Ben Kazani added a goal and three assists for Colts Neck. Liam Collura and Sal Vaina shared goalkeeping duties for Colts Neck, each making big saves to preserve the shutout.
Colts Neck (17-2) will host eighth-seeded Lawrence in the quarterfinals on Friday at 10 a.m.
Nottingham fell to 5-15-1 on the season.
